Whether it's a slow drip that finally gave out or a sudden flood at midnight, Nokomis residents call one number and get a real answer. Our Nokomis-based teams roll out with extraction and drying gear already loaded, not scrambling to gather it after the call.
Plenty of Nokomis families have dialed a big national number and waited through hold music before a random contractor showed up hours later, and Hirex Water Damage exists specifically to fix that pattern. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Each senior tech on our Nokomis roster is IICRC-certified and has handled everything from a clean supply-line break to a full Category 3 sewage loss, which is why Water Damage Repair in Nokomis is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. We carry full liability coverage and hold active licensing to operate throughout Nokomis, IL.
Because our gear is staged locally rather than shipped in, Nokomis response times run well ahead of a typical national franchise.
Anyone in Nokomis who's had a mid-night plumbing failure knows that every extra minute of standing water means more material soaked through. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
Our Nokomis technicians go through regular continuing education, because a method that was standard five years ago may not be the best option today.
The Nokomis jobs that end up gutting a room almost always started quiet, not with a flood. Here's what tells our team a Nokomis property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Nokomis line and we'll give you a straight answer on urgency.
From a single flooded closet to a three-story commercial building, our Nokomis crews scale the response to match the actual damage. Each item on this list corresponds to an actual step in our process, not a generic label.
Truck-mount extraction on every Nokomis rig means high-volume pickup starts the same day, not the next. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We calculate drying needs using humidity and temperature data rather than guessing at equipment placement, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
For Nokomis families, our scope covers flood-cut work, subfloor evaluation, and packing out belongings that can be cleaned and restored, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
For commercial Nokomis accounts, we assign a lead, run crews outside normal hours to limit downtime, and size equipment to the actual footprint — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
When a Nokomis job involves sewage backup, our team suits up fully, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
We treat affected materials during every Nokomis job specifically to lower mold risk, and flag anything that needs deeper remediation.
You'll see a written estimate before any equipment runs on your Nokomis property, not a mystery total after the fact.
Because equipment is staged inside Nokomis, most calls see a technician on-site in under an hour.
We photograph and log every step so your Nokomis claim moves faster and you're not arguing with an insurer alone.
We don't call a Nokomis job finished until the meter agrees, and if it doesn't, we return at no additional cost.
A short call tells us whether your Nokomis job needs one technician or a full crew before anyone drives out.
Our nearest available Nokomis crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount gear on board.
Extraction happens right away, with drying equipment placed only after moisture mapping is complete.
Daily moisture checks continue on every Nokomis job until each material reads dry, and you get a full report at the end.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and won't sign off on a Nokomis job until readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That commitment is written into every Nokomis work order we issue, not just mentioned in a sales pitch. If a follow-up visit is ever needed, we send a technician familiar with the original job whenever scheduling allows, so you're not re-explaining the situation to someone new.
Trust matters, but in restoration work, documented moisture readings matter more, and that's what our Nokomis guarantee is built on.
